Leigh’s approach to his students is one of care and respect. Whether it is a person who has always wanted to develop their singing voice for personal reasons, or someone who aspires to win a Grammy, Leigh commits to them all. He bases his teachings on the needs of each singer and treats them all with the same care and respect. For Leigh, teaching isn’t a sideline to performing – it is his chosen life’s work. As a result of his genuine support and care, his students trust in him and his guidance.

While Leigh is an accomplished performer, he has found his true vocation in voice teaching. Vocal Mastery is the central focus of his work – it is his calling. Being a performer enables Leigh to understand the techniques required to sustain a successful career, as well as the fears and anxieties associated with performance. Through the application of his technique, and his care and dedication as a person, Leigh is able to take each student from where they are to where they want to go.

‘Leigh gives them the courage to try and the techniques to succeed ’.
